Question

About 4 days after having sex with a new parter (only current partner) I have been having severe itching problems. It is similar to how it feels to have a yeast infection, so I have been treating it as such- putting on cream I have been prescribed previously. Only this time, I have had a larger amount of discharge other than what I had when I had a yeast infection. Today I noticed it has gone from a milky whitish color to a light green/white color. It has been about a week and a half now, and I'm starting to worry. Should I go into my gynecologist or should I continue to treat it as a yeast infection? (Also I have had a sore throat, and coughing up a lot of mucus, but it could just be from smoking.)
